आखिर वो घड़ी आ ही गई है, जब प्रियंका चोपड़ा (Priyanka Chopra) और निक जोनास (Nick Jonas) एक-दूसरे के होने जा रहे हैं. जोधपुर (Jodhpur) के आलीशान महल 'उमेद भवन' (Umaid Bhawan Palace) आज से शादी की रस्में शुरू हो जाएंगी. आपको बता दें कि उमेद भवन अपनी खूबसूरती के लिए जाना जाता है, लेकिन क्या आपको पता है कि #NickYanka ने सात फेरे लेने के लिए इसी जगह को क्यों चुना?

उमेद भवन पैलेस राजस्थान के जोधपुर जिले में स्थित एक महल है. यह दुनिया के सबसे बड़े निजी महलों में से एक है. यह ताज होटल का ही एक अंग है.

इसका नाम महाराजा उम्मैद सिंह के पौत्र ने दिया था, जो वर्तमान में मालिक है. इस समय पैलेस में 347 कमरे हैं. इस उमेद भवन पैलेस को 'चित्तर पैलेस' के नाम से भी पहले जाना जाता था, जब इसका निर्माण कार्य चालू था. यह पैलेस 1943 में बनकर तैयार हुआ था.

जानकारी के अनुसार, यह महल 52 एकड़ में फैला हुआ है. इस किले में बगीचा, स्विमिंग पूल, योगा रूम, मसाज रूम, लाइब्रेरी, दरबार हॉल और सिंहासन कक्ष बना हुआ है. रात की चांदनी में इस महल की खूबसूरती देखते ही बनती है.

प्रियंका और निक की शादी दो रीति-रिवाज से होगी. 1 दिसंबर को पंजाबी और 2 दिसंबर को क्रिश्च्यिन परंपरा के अनुसार निकयांका एक-दूसरे का हाथ थामेंगे. इसके बाद यह जोड़ा दिल्ली और मुंबई में रिसेप्शन पार्टी देगा.
